Delete the rig, no problem, mesh still moves as it should. The animation bakes to the bones, no problem. So Im having a problem getting an animation out of Maya and into Unity. It's a good question and one I'm sure other people will have. Windows 64-bit Maya 2014, FBX 2014.1, Unity 5.0.
